If you’re planning a trip to Newquay’s iconic Boardmasters festival this summer, why not make it one to remember and couple it with an indulgent stay at the Atlantic Hotel.

After an exciting day of watching the surfing at Fistral Beach, you’ll be able to return to the Atlantic for some pampering in our treatment room. We offer a whole host of massages; whether you fancy a Thai, Swedish or a hot stone rub down, we’ve got it all.

Boardmasters festival offers anyone from surfing novices to water sports experts a great day out. You’ll be able to watch world-renowned athletes compete for various titles at the 2015 competition all amid a backdrop of stunning Cornish scenery.

Boardmasters has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1981 and it’s now one of the most influential surfing competitions in Britain. Some of the categories at this year’s event include men and women’s long board, men and women’s open and girls and boys pro junior. There’s even something for younger competitors with the whippersnappers under 12’s event.

After a day of watching some of the most prestigious names in the surfing industry compete, why not come back to the Atlantic Hotel for a bite to eat. Silks Bistro has been awarded a rosette for its excellent locally sourced dishes; from squid to lobster, pasta to Sunday lunch, we’re on hand to deliver top quality food and ensure you leave with a smile.

If you’re a music lover and are attending Boardmasters for the musical talent, you can watch established artists such as: Faithless, Rudimental, Bastille, Clean Bandit, Groove Armada, Nick Mulvey and even The Darkness. There will also be some local favourites representing Cornwall’s diverse music scene such as Wolf Note.

Whether you’re coming for the music or the surfing, have a Boardmasters experience with a splash of luxury, and stay at the Atlantic Hotel Newquay.
