Europe’s premier surf, skate and music festival is returning to Newquay this summer. Taking place from August 8th – August 12th, this year’s line-up looks to be the biggest and most star studded yet.

Ed Sheeran and Dizzy Rascal are set to headline and with support from Maximo Park, Maverick Sabre, Zane Lowe, Ting Tings, DJ FRESH, Donavon Frankenreiter and The Big Pink, it’s clear that festival organisers have been busy assembling a musical soundtrack built for the summer!

There are 2 tennis breaks available with Heron Tennis Centre.

The ‘One Day Course‘, which includes the itinerary from just the first day below. Only £60 per person and for Atlantic Hotel guests with an added 10% reduction for a minimum of 4 players, making it £54 each and for a minimum of 6 players we could offer a 20% reduction making £48 per person. Available either on a Saturday or Sunday.

The ‘Two Day Course‘ which includes both days of the itinerary below, is £105 per person, but the same discounts apply, 4 minimum players gives you a 10% discount making it £94 50 per person, or a minimum of 6 players gives you a 20% discount, making £84 per person. Includes Saturday and Sunday.

Course Itinerary

9.45am – “Welcome” and tour of the centre

10am – physical & hitting warm-ups

10.30am – focus on improving technique

11.30am – reinforcing technical improvements whilst doing ‘Cardio’ movement & grooving drills

12pm – lunch break

pm – focus on serving (whilst being filmed) + focus on tactics of singles and/ or doubles

e.g. practice points where you are striving for consistency before looking to win the point: ”my priority is to try and reach every ball and be consistent”, Rafael Nadal.

3pm – sessions end for the day. Players are able to stay on and play with each other on our outdoor or indoor courts

11am – warm up all shots using “quick feet and slow swings”, Bjorn Borg

11.30am – session designed according to each player’s chosen area of focus

1pm – lunch break + video analysis of serves filmed yesterday
