A Springtime 1-2-3 at The Atlantic Hotel

3 April 2015

You’ve done it, you’ve successfully escaped the high paces and stressed faces of everyday life and arrived at The Atlantic Hotel: but what to do first? Here’s our guide on how to take it easy on the coast:

Lazy morning: Roll over, pull back the soft, soft duvet and take the few steps to the window where the Atlantic Ocean greets you with a wave (sorry, we couldn’t resist).

This gorgeous force of nature never fails to remind us how lucky we are to be on the coast, and how lucky we are to have you as a guest. Welcome to a new day in Cornwall.

Chase the tide: You’re up, enjoyed a deluxe breakfast with us and are keen to explore our neighbouring Fistral beach. Tease the sea by walking hand in hand along the foaming lip of the ocean…watch out for rogue waves trying their luck though!

Bright Spring rambles: Springtime sunshine on the South West Coast Path – just a short distance from the hotel – is a joy, so lace up your walking boots and hike this glorious border of Cornwall. With this being the season of new life, keep your eyes peeled for seals, seabirds and other tiny countryside characters!

Afternoon sunsets: Soft pinks, flaming reds, brilliant oranges and subtle purples…a springtime sunset on an ocean horizon is something money can’t buy. Hold each other close and really appreciate how spectacular this moment is.

Sublime wining and dining: A day of duvet diving, wave watching, cliff hiking and sunset gazing needs a meal just as grand to lead into the night. Truly excellent eatery experiences are always on the menu at our AA-rosette awarded Silks Bistro, and new Head Chef Mark Treadwell truly embraces our four-star ethos of fine dining on the coast. Bon appétit!

Should you choose to follow our guide or make your own waves, we always welcome new and returning faces to The Atlantic Hotel, book your stay today.
