So we’re suggesting our top interesting children’s activities in Cornwall to get them out in the fresh air and feeling inspired!
Cheeky Monkeys
Take the kids to the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe for a day of fun with lots of different species of rescued monkey! Tour the enclosures and learn lots of facts about these funny little creatures, and make the most of the children’s activity room where kids can partake in craft workshops or have fun in the playground. There’s plenty of wildlife garden for you to take a stroll around and there’s also the ‘Bat Zone’ for the kids to enjoy!
The Best Day of the Week…
Flambards is a great place to take the kids when you’re enjoying a break in Cornwall. You’ll be able to watch them have fun in the adventure play areas, jump on some thrilling rides or enjoy some small rides for the littler children. There are also exhibitions set in the Victorian era and Britain in the Blitz, which are extremely educational.
Sea Life Differently
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a seal? Pay a visit to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and visit sick seals that are being nursed back to health in the hospital or visit the resident sea lions and otters!
Go Back in Time
If you’ve got some young history buffs, take them on a trip to Pendennis Castle and learn about Henry VIII and the history of Cornwall in battle. You’ll see plenty of guns and can enjoy an interactive exhibition.
Spend Time on the Farm
Take your little ones to Dairyland Farmword where they’ll have a fun day out with pony rides, slides, mini tractors and a maze! They’ll be able to meet farm animals too and spend time in the Bull Pen indoor play centre!
Take an Adventure…
If you’ve got some keen adventurers on your hands, pay a visit to Crealy Adventure Park where you can enjoy rides, meet reptiles and creepy crawlies, as well as a whole host of furry animals around the park! There’s a large indoor play area too with mazes, ball pools and more!
