We want every wedding at the Atlantic to be the best day of the bride and groom’s lives and we strive to make it as special as possible. But when it’s all over, and you’re sat at home in casual clothes rather than a beautiful dress or suave tux, we want you to be able to remember everything about your wedding day in Cornwall.
That’s why we recommend taking key photos along the way so you can recount the event over and over whenever you like. If you’re getting married at the Atlantic Hotel and staying in the luxurious Bridal Suite overnight, you’ll wake up to stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean. Why not order a champagne breakfast to enjoy before the preparation begins?
Once you begin getting ready, your photographer could take some pictures of your hair and makeup being applied. How often do you get your very own makeup artist and hairdresser on hand to make you look flawless? You may also want to have photos taken of your dress, perhaps hanging on a padded hanger, carefully laid across the bed or maybe draped over the back of a chair.
If you’re traditional and have something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue for your wedding day at the Atlantic hotel, why not ask the photographer to take some still life shots of them for you. Although you’ll be able to keep your dress, your bouquets won’t last forever so it’s a good idea to get some photos of the bride and bridesmaids flowers to capture their fresh colours.
Although a lot of the photos on your big day will be posed for, why not try having the photographer take some candid images of you and your bridesmaids to really capture the essence of the day. When you’re ready, you can have some of someone special helping to place your veil or buttoning up your dress.
Some truly magical photos come in the form of people seeing the bride in her dress for the first time. Make sure your photographer’s on hand to snap your family members reactions to your wedding dress on the most special day of your life.
But let’s not forget the groom! Photos of the soon-to-be husband getting ready with his groomsmen can be a fantastic way of looking back on your preparation time as neither of you will have witnessed that part of the wedding day.
The ceremony is obviously a massive part of your Newquay wedding experience which needs to be photographed, but try getting your photographer to snap some interesting shots like a close-up of the bride just before she makes her entrance, or a close-up of the groom’s expression while he’s waiting for his wife-to-be. The kiss is probably the main moment for photographs during the ceremony and we’re sure you’ll want to look back on the moment that you sealed the deal.
Although you’ll take other photos throughout the day such as at the reception, with the cake and speeches, here at the Atlantic Hotel Newquay we offer a particularly special perk for all our wedding guests—our location. We have panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, which means you, and your loved one can have your wedding photos amid a backdrop of some of the best Cornish scenery there is to offer. We recommend pictures outside which will bring a truly magical touch to any wedding day. Feel free to call us to discuss our all-new wedding packages, on: 01637 872244.
