As Valentine’s Day falls in Half Term this year, many parents are probably writing off any romantic mini-breaks, however, take a look at our suggestions on how you can enjoy a lovely Valentine’s break avec children……….
Celebrate Together
Whatever your family dynamics, one thing is certain- celebrating Valentine’s together will help all members to feel valued and welcomed. Our Valentine’s themed Afternoon High Tea is available for up to 4- just let us know the ages of your children and we will create complimentary* extra delicious treats and surprises guaranteed to delight, with high chairs available and a family friendly atmosphere, what a lovely way to celebrate the special day of love.
Get them involved!
You would be surprised at how interested children are in their parents love for each other (possibly not those in the teenage years we have to admit, although what better way to send positive messages about relationships than by celebrating yours!)
Little ones love to make cards, pack some card, scissors, and a craft kit and let them make you their own cards whilst you enjoy a drink, and look out to sea in your family room. Invite older children to become family photographer and capture some moments to cherish forever.
Get the kids active
Active kids= happy kids! Set in 10 acres of private headland, just minutes from the beach get out and enjoy whatever the weather! Flying a kite, rock pooling, and exploring the beach are all simple pleasures available right outside the hotel. Book a surf lesson as a family or take a boat trip out to explore the wildlife. Make a day of it and order a luxury picnic hamper and cosy blankets, before finally heading back to the hotel to relax in the gloriously warm indoor leisure and spa facilities.
Romantic Evening meal???? How??
Our 2 night Valentine’s break includes a stunning 3-course romantic evening meal and a glass of champagne, followed by live entertainment, sounds wonderful but how will this be possible with children in tow? Easy! Our specially created children’s menus including all the favourites, freshly cooked, let them enjoy the food they love before slipping out to enjoy a film and popcorn so they can stay entertained while you enjoy your meal together.
Finish off the evening together listening to live entertainment before heading up to our spacious, sea view family rooms.
