Newquay Music & Ale Festival will hit Fore Street on Friday 25th – Sunday 27th November 2016 for a three-day party fusing live music, themed fancy dress nights and a variety of locally brewed ales. The annual event is set to be the biggest yet, with a string of major headline acts taking to the stage across the weekend. With marquee doors opening from 10am through to 11pm each day, festival revelers can expect a fun filled weekend for all the family.

Kicking off the festive season, the Music & Ale Festival will take prime position in the Fore Street Car Park overlooking Newquay’s historic Harbour. Supported by the Newquay Business Improvement District, the winter party expects to welcome hundreds of festival guests over the course of the weekend.

Headlining Friday’s celebrations, Mad Dog Mcrea are set to entertain party-goers with their infectious melodies spanning folk rock, gypsy jazz and Irish. Never failing to get a crowd to their feet, this fun loving band are guaranteed to get everyone dancing. Other confirmed acts for Friday evening include Kernow King and Emerald, with further artists to be announced.

Giving fans the chance to relive the Abba phenomena that swept the airwaves and discos during the 70’s and 80’s, The Abba Reunion Tribute Show will take to the stage on Saturday night for a feel good party style concert that will feature chart-topping hits including Mamma Mia and Dancing Queen. Having sold out prestigious theatres across the UK, this authentic show has wowed crowds around the world, from Europe to East Africa. Other acts scheduled for Saturday night include Love Gap, and an 80’s set from DJ Piers. Partygoers are encouraged to wear fancy dress with the promise of prizes for the best costume.

Easing festival revellers into a relaxed Sunday session, guests can expect to see performances from Ben Ottewell from Gomez, Belfast Busker, Cyderfex and Ten Bob Notes.
