Here at the Atlantic Hotel Newquay, we’re proud of our rosette awarded Silks Bistro and we believe we have some of the perfect dishes for an incredible first date.
You can bring your significant other to our chic Mediterranean vibe restaurant and have a cosy table for two, hidden amongst tall palms. Candles will be lit and you’ll have a truly romantic setting to enjoy while you get to know one another. Our food is sure to be a talking point as we are known for our excellent standards and locally sourced produce. Additionally, Silks Bistro is currently the only rosette awarded restaurant in Newquay town.
Why not start with a seductive oyster appetiser, served on a bed of crushed ice and red wine vinaigrette? But there’s only three so you’ll have to decide who gets the last one…
Select a couple of starters and perhaps share some different flavours, like our cayenne flavoured squid, Newlyn crab cakes or our goats cheese panna cotta with crispy pancetta.
If you fancy treating your date to something particularly special, you can pre-order a lobster with us, which we will serve either thermidor or poached. Otherwise our juicy steaks are on offer as well as our slow-roast belly pork and roasted vegetable, tomato and goat’s cheese linguini.
Dessert could be where things get really intimate with the opportunity to share our creamy lemon and raspberry baked cheesecake. Or if things are heating up, try cooling down with the passion fruit posset with mango sorbet.
