For the couples looking for photos on the beach, the world famous Fistral Beach is just minutes away from our hotel. Step on the sand for the first time as a married couple, look out to the ocean and enjoy the moment together. This image is so romantic we just had to include it!

Best Places to Propose

Following the success of our new Proposal Package we’ve featured some of the best places to propose! Read on chaps for inspiration.

At the beach

The beach is surely one of the best places to propose and with the beach so close to the hotel you can say you’re popping to Reception for something but get down there and write “Will You Marry Me?” in the sand so it’s ready for the big reveal as you take a sandy stroll together. Imagine the waves crashing on the shore as she spots it in the sand and finds you down on one knee?

Over breakfast

A unique twist that she won’t be expecting, order breakfast in bed. Give us the ring beforehand and we’ll strategically place it on your breakfast tray so she finds it as a surprise! We’ll make sure we bring up a glass of bubbly each shortly afterwards so you can celebrate in style!

On a picnic

The option of a gourmet picnic is included in our Proposal Package for those who want to escape somewhere private and picturesque. Cornwall is full of options, from castles and manor houses to secluded coves, cliff walks and famous landmarks such as Kynance or Lamorna coves – simply pack your picnic and wow her in style!

In Huer’s Hut

The unique Huer’s Hut is only a short walk from the hotel and is somewhere utterly unique to ask that all-important question. Believed to originate from the 14th Century when it operated as a lookout, this stunning building is so distinct and unusual and really stands out against the blue sky, it will be the most amazing experience to get engaged here!

On your own private balcony

We include the option of a romantic balcony proposal with dinner as part of our Proposal Package as we know how romantic this is. Enjoy the sun setting over the ocean as a waiter brings you dinner. When the moment is right ask the question… we can even bring out a plate for dessert with “Will You Marry Me?” written in icing ready for you to get down on one knee with the sunset behind you! Who could say no to that?!
