Polly Joke fields

Situated between Holywell Bay and Crantock, just outside Newquay the fields of Polly Joke are home to a breathtaking display of wildflowers: Best time to visit Late spring / early Summer.

The small cove is completely unspoilt, and there is National Trust parking nearby. This is a must-visit for calm, unspoilt, vibrant beauty.

Lizard Point

Spring at Lizard Point (at the Southern tip of the Lizard Peninsula) enjoys a beautiful show of Wild Thrift, Wild Asparagus and Blue Spring Squill.

A visit will instantly show why Revd C A Johns, the accomplished Victorian plant expert visited 1847 wrote ‘If I throw my hat on the ground, wherever it lands there will be at least ten species of wild plant underneath’. Don’t forget to pack your hat to try it out for yourself!
