The weather is getting warmer and the nights are getting longer, so we’ve put together our favourite summer dishes from Silks Bistro for the month of July.


Tapas is the perfect answer for a summer evening in Newquay. Our Shellfish Bisque Espresso with Shellfish Foam is perfect for a light lunch or to kick off an evening of summer wining and dining.


What better place to try the fabulous seafood Cornwall has to offer than right on the water’s edge. The Cayenne Floured Squid with Saffron Aioli and Fine Leaf is a delicious way to start!


Pan Fried Seabass Fillet with a Rich Roast Tomato Sauce and Seared Scallops. This delicious main course is the perfect dish for warm July evenings in our bistro. Perfectly accompanied by a glass of crisp cool white wine.


Seared Scallops with Pork Rillettes and a Smoked Carrot and Coral Puree. If you’re staying by the sea, our scallops are a must try! This beautiful starter screams summer and is the perfect way to kick off any evening.


Something sweet? Finish in style with our show stopping Lemon and Raspberry Baked Cheesecake and Raspberry Sorbet.
