Top Tips for a Romantic Break

1 February 2017

With Valentine’s just around the corner we have put together our top suggestions for how to make a stay even more romantic. As if panoramic sea views, marble entrances, sweeping staircases and drop crystal chandeliers weren’t enough! Read on for our top tips on making a stay even more romantic this Valentine’s:

Enjoy a Bubble Bath for Two

Nothing beats checking in and running a big bubble bath in our romantic roll top baths. Check in and hop in the tub (we can even put Champagne on ice for you to enjoy in your room). Afterwards wrap up in fluffy towels then slip into your Atlantic robes and slippers and enjoy a glass of something chilled or a hot cup of coffee in your room or on your private balcony if you book one of our luxury Balcony Suites.

Take a Mood Lit Dip in the Pool

Why not enjoy an evening swim in our new indoor pool and spa. By day there is the magnificent sea view but in the evening the mood lights glow in pretty hues to soothe and calm. Enjoy a few lengths, some time in the steam room or chill out in the hot tub – bliss!

Enjoy a Romantic Dinner a Deux

The ultimate romantic treat, enjoy dinner for two in our Rosette awarded restaurant and Champagne bar, Silks. Having recently won a Silver Taste of the West award, we have a variety of dishes in a truly romantic setting, perfect for wining, dining and romance.

Walk Along the Sand Beneath the Moon

Being so close to the beach is ideal for romantic weekend breaks. But our favourite time to visit Fistral is after hours. When it’s completely quiet, romantic and secluded, wander along the shore hand in hand barefoot on the sand beneath the moon and with the moon at its fullest on 11th February, it will most certainly be the moon of love on Valentine’s Day!

Enjoy a Champagne Breakfast in Bed

There’s nothing more special than enjoying breakfast in bed to make an occasion even more momentous. Why not ask for a glass of Champagne each to accompany your breakfast and celebrate in style, without even needing to leave the room!

Do just ask if you would like us to add any romantic touches for your romantic break in Cornwall. We can scatter rose petals, run you a romantic bath timed for your arrival, book you a massage, put champagne on ice or bring you breakfast in bed – just ask our Reception Team when booking. And don’t forget, February is the Month of Love, check out our fantastic Valentine’s Offers here!
