What’s on in Cornwall this August 2024

22 July 2024

It is no secret that Cornwall truly comes alive in the summer time. From food festivals, music gigs and more.

St Agnes Carnival
3rd August

There can be no better place to immerse yourself in true Cornish community culture than a carnival adorned with floats and costumes meandering through a Cornish village filling the streets with colour and cheer. The St Agnes carnival dates back more than 100 years and thanks to the bustling local community, the carnival is still as full of life as when miners, bal-maidens and fishing folk lined the streets to watch the floats.

The epic 4 day surf, skate and music festival will see world class acts including Sam Fender and Stomzy take to the stage on the cliffs of Watergate Bay. Discover the acts on the secret stage, enjoy good food and good drinks, and dance in the fields as the sun sets over the bay. Festival locations don’t get much better than Boardmasters.
