Newquay’s Coastal Walks

1 July 2014

Now that Newquay’s Summer is well and truly here, the coastal paths that run alongside the Atlantic Ocean seem even more appealing than usual!  With a variety of different routes offering stunning scenery and great natural beauty, you can see something new each day with a daily coastal path of your choice.  Start your walk with us here at The Atlantic hotel and walk the Towan Head where you can take in some of Newquay’s heritage such as the old life boat slip and the white lookout hut, whilst grabbing an ice cream on the way and a few rays on the secluded Little Fistral beach…the local’s favourite.  For further afield try (amongst other routes) the Porth Island coastal walk, spotting impressive blowholes and a rich diversity of Cornish wildlife.   With little eateries and pubs scattered at points not far off the coastal paths, this is a great activity for couples who like to make the most of our romantic scenery and Cornish air.  Check out this link for a few different coastal path options.  Book in with us via our website, and look forward to returning to The Atlantic Hotel to relax in luxury after a day of walking.
